The purpose of Dear Girls Camp Alumni Association is to foster and strengthen our culture of integrity, perseverance, leadership, service and sisterhood!
Dear Girls Camp Alumni Association exist to support the organization's mission and goals, and to strengthen the ties between the alumni, the campers and the community. Dear Girls Camp Alumni Association reinforces and demostrates a culture of sisterhood and service.
Our Alumni are essential to our organization and have a great impact on the progress of Dear Girls Camp's impact.
My story is simple... I was a young girl who suffered from low self-esteem. I needed something to help break the shell I felt trapped in for so long. Dear Girls Camp was that shell breaker. I was able to express myself without being judged, make new friends without being bullied, and embrace who I was without feeling doubtful. My experience at camp was apart of the growth I needed to to become who I am today.
Dear Girls Camp creates a culture of sisterhood by building relationships with the girls around at camp and outside of camp. We’re taught the importance of relationships and how to create that culture of a sisterhood that we can have for a lifetime.

You learn so much about life, friendships, health, wealth, you name it. It is a camp that has a strong influential hold on you when you leave, that makes you want to keep coming back. There is so much to take from this experience, that can not only help a young girl grow but give her the knowledge and experience that she needs to go into the world and become unstoppable.
It was my first time actually going to a real camp. Something told me I definitely had to go, so I went. It was last minute but I went. I had one of the greatest times of my life ever. I actually met my best friend here at this camp and we will be roommates at our very first place soon.

Dear Girls Camp is the ultimate girls experience because I learned who I was as a teanage girl. Dear Girls Camp taught me to love myself first, and to never care about the negative things people have to say.
When I came to Dear Girls Camp I was living in a shelter. I already felt less then everybody there because of my situation. I was scared to talk and make friends because of my fear of being judged.
They welcomed me with open arms. Amber, Destiny, other campers and the Dear Girls Camp Staff is the reason that to this day I am confident in any situation I find myself in. They are the reason I walk with confidence and I try to uplift other beautiful girls.
Dear Girls Camp is the ultimate girls experience because weather you're there for 3 days to a week, it gives you time to find yourself. You try new things being at Dear Girls Camp. At dear girls camp nobody is worried about what the next person thinks or tryna fit in. DEAR GIRLS CAMP is THE camp to BE YOURSELF without the fear of being judged.

I came to Dear Girls Camp with my cousin and sister, not really knowing what was going to take place but I learned so much and experienced so many things I never had before. I really learned to love myself and opened up to new people which I hadn’t done for a while. I was really shy. And best of all, I met one of my best friends there. I thank god all of the time that I did. Everyone needs a beautiful and kind soul like hers in their life. I feel so blessed to have attended this camp.
